Hip Labrum Surgery
Hip labrum surgery encompasses a variety of surgical techniques used to address damage to the labrum of the hip, a rim of soft tissue and fibrocartilage surrounding the acetabulum. Approaches include labral repair, labral debridement, and labral reconstruction. Hip labral tears are often associated with femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), or hip impingement. Hence, this surgery may be performed alongside FAI surgery.
